Trains and rail travel

Ever since Rod took his first epic train journey with his mum and grandparents from Adelaide to Cairns via Melbourne in 1965, his fascination with rail travel has remained undiminished. Since then he has travelled in trains throughout Europe and Australia as well as journeys in the USA, Africa, India, Canada, Japan and SE Asia including numerous heritage and historic trains.
